SalaryCalculator.org.uk is a free online tool providing UK salary and tax calculators. For the purposes of UK GDPR, we are the data controller for any personal data processed in connection with this website.

2. Data we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, store or process any of the following:
- Salary figures or income amounts entered into calculators
- Name, email address, or any other identifying information (unless you voluntarily submit our contact form)
- National Insurance number, tax code, or payroll reference
- Any financial or employment details
All calculator computations are performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. No data is sent to our servers at any point during calculator use.
3. Data we do collect
Analytics
We use anonymous website analytics to understand how our pages are used. Analytics data may include:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Approximate geographic region (country or region level, not precise location)
- Browser type and operating system
- Referral source (how you arrived at our site)
Analytics data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you as an individual. No individual user profiles are created or stored.
Contact form submissions
If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties or used for marketing. We retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months.

Contact form data is retained for up to 12 months. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 26 months in aggregated form. No calculator input data is retained as it is never collected.
